Scholarships: Al's Formal Wear is proud to sponsor college scholarships. This year we are offering two (2) $2,500 college scholarships. Entries are accepted September 29, 2008 through June 10, 2009. High School Teacher Grants: Al's Formal Wear is excited to announce that we are awarding six (6) $250 "High School Teacher Grants" this year. Prom Representative Program: By being an Al’s Formal Wear Prom Representative, students can save $10 toward their tuxedo rental for every prom gift discount card redeemed by their classmates and friends. When 10 coupons are redeemed, the student receives a FREE Tuxedo rental. Plus, Prom Representatives help their friends and classmates save on their tuxedo rentals as well. Special Prom Discount Cards and Brochures: Al's Formal Wear offers generous prom discounts to students. We would be more than happy to provide prom discount cards and brochures for distribution at your school.
On-Site Measuring, Delivery and Pickup: Our fully trained formal wear consultants are available to come to your school and set up a table for prom tuxedo selection, measuring and reservation. Our consultants can also deliver your student's tuxedos to the venue of your choice before your events and pick them up afterwards based on availability. Free Rentals for Financially Challenged Students: Al's Formal Wear proudly offers a free rental to students who cannot afford the cost of a tuxedo rental for their prom. A written request must be sent from a teacher or counselor requesting the rental. Students who receive the free rental should be graduating seniors and financially challenged. (Limit 2 per high school, please.) Fax your requests to: 281-596-4441, Attn: Allie Albrecht.
Special Group/Uniform Pricing: In addition to tuxedo rentals, Al's Formal Wear sells tuxedo coats, pants and formal wear accessories at special group rates to choirs, bands and orchestras. Please call 713-796-7057 for more information.
Graduation Announcements: Al's Formal Wear carries a wide assortment of graduation announcements. The announcements may be personalized with the year, date, Mascot and color of paper. Some varieties of graduation announcements can accommodate senior pictures as well. We offer 10% off graduation announcements in many attractive styles.
Tuxedos for Prom Style Shows: Al's Formal Wear offers complimentary tuxedo rentals for senior style shows and fundraisers. If your school is planning a fashion/style show and is in need of tuxedos, fax your request in writing to 281-596-4441, Attn: Aaron Parrish.
Tuxedo Etiquette Seminars: For many high school seniors, prom will be their first experience wearing a tuxedo. Al's Formal Wear wants to help educate your students on the "Dos" and "Don'ts" of formal wear by hosting "Tuxedo Etiquette Seminars". Call Allie Albrecht at 713-796-7050 for more information.
